This morning our first pet died. Jinxy was only 6 but she had been very sick for the last few months. The vet said it would cost a lot of money to help her and that it might not even work. So we opted to let her enjoy her time with us loving her and spending time with her. Last night the hub took out the trash and the cat must have gotten out and when I looked out the window this morning there she was, all sprawled out in between our cars. She must have died early this morning. I'm heartbroken. I loved our cat so very much. I hope she knew how much we loved her and how much she will be missed.

I think it must just be me. I'm trolling through Twilight fics on adultfanfiction.net and I am reading the summaries and a lot of the time I am saying eww...in which the hub responds what? He is not intoTwilight so I don't dare start in on a long drawn out conversation on why I don't think i would like Jasper and Edward together.

I am all on board for some man on man aciton LOL. I love Queer as Folk and i love the idea of Spike/Angel, Spike/Angelus , William/Angel, Liam/Spike, Xander/Spike, Xander/Angel(us)(Liam) .... see I dig the dudes...but Edward and Jasper?? I don't think i would like that. I could possibly be into Emmett/Edward though. Am I weird??

Sometimes I really hate the cold. Especially this week. Brooke started complaining about her ear on Thanksgiving (covering said ear and crying and saying ouch) so I took her to the doctor on Black Friday (Got a speeding ticket on top of it my first ever!) and the dr said the ear was fine she just has a cold. Well the entire week she continued to complain about the ear and had a low grade fever..well two kids in her class ended up with scarlet fever, strep throat and impetigo! I noticed a rash on her thighs and took her back to the dr...well he checked her ear the bad one AND low and behold she has an ear infection. (The rash was just a contact rash from her diaper) I was soooo *pissed*!!!  So you mean to tell me my daughter was in pain for a week! the only thing the first dr had said was that she had some wax in her ear. (I go to a practice that has 5 drs and 1 nurse practictioner) It just makes me mad cuz there I paid 2 co-pays when the first dr I feel should have just prescribed something. I know that ear infections can be created overnight but come on she was miserable. UGH! Now on top of it Gabe has an ear infection. I just can't win in the winter!!

Last night it snowed and it was so pretty. Only about a half an inch outside but still it was really pretty against the Christmas lights.

Anyone else not really in the mood for Christmas this year? I feel so bah humbug I can't even tell you! I decorated the house thinking it would cheer me up but it so hasn't. Every year gets worse...I just don't like this holiday ya know? I love what it symbolizes about Christ and I love the decorations but the money end really sucks! Gotta love the commercials about the spouses giving each other brand new cars. LoL. What universe is that?? They prolly have real vampires there too! LoL.
